1) Work on the vocabulary and answer to the 6 wh- (who, where, when, what; how and why) speaking to your classmates.
2) Identify the main idea in each paragraph, i.e. the topic sentence. You can underline it. Can you write it in reported speech? "The author says that..."
3) Make a summary and read it out to the rest of the class (secretary of the group). You can write it on a postit and stick it in the display in class:
DOs

- Then add some relevant information.
- Do use your own words
DON'Ts
- Don't write irrelevant information
- Don't use exact words from the text
- Don't give your opinion
4) Talk about the DISCUSSION question at the end of your text. Write a paragraph in groups on a postit answering the final question. You can add where would you like to go in Spain and why. Then stick it on the map in class.
EXTRA: CAN YOU LOCATE THE TOURIST DESTINATIONS OF YOUR TEXTS ON THE MAP?
5) Homework-Grammar revision. Turn these direct questions into Reported questions. Answer them on your notebook.
Where would you like to go in the world and why? When was the last time you went to Spain?
Have you ever visited another continent? Will you study in a Spanish university?
Which is the best holiday destination in your opinion? Who are you travelling with this summer?
SPEAKING. Listen to a travel podcast of your choice. Then, prepare and record an audio giving tips to young people about a destination of your choice. As you will see, a podcast must include some music, it might include sound effects and it is important to modulate the rhythm, pauses, and intonation. I will attach 2 examples from last year students to have an idea: Selena's did it individually, Dani and Luis did in couple. Duration: from 1 to 5 minutes. You can work in pairs (virtually though!... given our current situation).
